Reverts #317, which was merged prematurely without respecting the existing Shot Lab PR sequence and backend-specific keeper pointer. The resulting tree matches pre-#317 GQL master (926b2aa) exactly. This leaves the original Shot Lab branches and PRs untouched so their owners can continue the reviewed gql -> backend -> mobile sequence.
